Your privacy matters, especially because Learner Driving Hours is intended for new drivers, who are often minors. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not do with your information.
We do not collect your data
Learner Driving Hours does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We (the developer) have no servers that receive your data and we have no access to your drives, settings, or any other information you enter.
Where your information is stored
All the information you enter — your drives, goals, settings, and preferences — is stored on your device and in your own private iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit). This lets your data back up automatically and stay in sync across your Apple devices. It is controlled entirely by you and your Apple ID. We cannot see it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Location
The app does not track your location and does not use GPS. Distance (miles or kilometers) is optional and entered manually by you.
No tracking or advertising
There is no analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect information.
Children's privacy
Because the app collects no data, it collects no data from children. No account or sign-in is required to use the app.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual drives or all of your data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete all data). Because data lives in your own iCloud, deleting it removes it from your synced devices.
